@Taylor Evans Ghosal I am liking
#MindfulnessMonday! I started something new last week that I hope yall don't think is completely weird--hypnotherapy!
I have struggled with migraines for years and have tried literally everything--all the medications, completely stripped my diet of everything that could possibly cause a migraine, regular exercise and related stress relievers, pain management meditation...I am probably forgetting something in there. Trust me, it's a lot. So a friend of mine tried hypnotherapy for six weeks for his IBS/Crohn's (gut) issues, and is doing much better. So, I am giving it a try!
The sessions are very interesting. I am in control and conscious through the whole thing (I'm not a zombie who could be told to cluck like a chicken or anything). But I am THE MOST relaxed I have ever been in my life, and it feels great. I am thinking even if it doesn't help my headaches, I am going to keep up with the hypno sessions because it's got to be helping me overall to have that level of relaxation in my life.
