Did y'all catch that Live Nation is turning many of their concert venues into polling places for the November election? They're also offering their active employees a day of paid time off to serve at voting precincts, to help combat the shortage of poll workers.

Do you already have a plan to vote?
(I know @Maria L does, since she mentioned it in her post the other day!)

Are you looking to volunteer during election season or on election day?

    Thanks, Drew!

Speaking of voting, it's National Voter Registration Day today!

You can easily check your status or register to vote online.
Let's get out there and make an impact!

I love seeing the positive GoTV energy this year. The NBA is also making a voter registration push and working with cities to make voting more accessible. Over 20 NBA arenas will serve as voting centers this fall.

In Houston, for example, the Rockets' Toyota Center will serve as a voting center for all registered voters in Harris County, for early voting and on Election Day. They're also hosting a registration drive this Friday -- pretty cool! Here in Chicago, it's still TBD whether United Center will be approved by the city as a voting center.

Also... More Than a Vote, an organization started by LeBron James, is putting out an all call for poll workers in a new PSA:

Updating my post, United Center in Chicago just announced that it will open as a voting center on November 3... less than 5 days away! The UC joins at least 20 arenas around the country that are open for early and/or Election Day voting.
