@Quinn Drew I like that all these benefits work for both the mentor and the mentee. I usually think about mentoring only benefitting the mentee, but having been on both sides I know you are right--
being a mentor is a huge learning experience! Having those in-depth conversations with another person always leads to growth, no matter which role you're in.
I might add that being in a mentoring relationship makes you appreciate how far you've already come in your career. Even for the mentee, they know what they want as a next step, so they're usually not starting from scratch and have experiences to share with their mentor. I think so many times we get caught up in what we don't know or what we haven't experienced yet. A mentoring relationship is a chance to look at where you
are and be proud of all you've accomplished.

Subject: 5 Key Benefits of Mentoring
Hi folx -
Just posted a handy-dandy infographic with 5 Key Benefits of Mentoring over on our blog. Mentoring:
- increases confidence,
- helps us focus on being present and strengthens our active listening skills,
- hone our communication skills,
- expand our network, and
- explore new and different perspectives.
Admittedly, that's just my opinion. I'm curious about your thoughts. What do you think is most beneficial about #mentoring?
